余剛,男,1965年生,當陽半月人。清華大學環(huán)境科學與工程系教授、系主任。國家杰出青年基金和教育部跨世紀優(yōu)秀人才基金獲得者。
            
        1986年南京大學畢業(yè)后繼而在該校與中國科學院攻讀碩士、博士學位,1992年在清華大學擔任講師。1994年赴加拿大大學進修,同年升為系副主任、副教授。1995年赴日本研修。1997年至1998年作為高級訪問學者訪問英國。1998年起擔任清華大學環(huán)境科學與工程系副主任、教授、博士生導師,系學術委員會副主任。主要兼職有國際水質協(xié)會會員、中國環(huán)境科學學會會員、國家863環(huán)境主題專家組成員等。作為項目負責人與主要參與者,已完成科研課題20多項,其中,包括3項國家自然科學基金項目,2項國際合作項目。已經和正在培養(yǎng)多名碩士、博士生。1996年獲“國家八五科技攻關環(huán)境保護項目先進個人”、“國家計委、國家科委、財政部國家八五科技攻關成果”、“國家八五科技攻關優(yōu)秀成果”等多項獎勵;1997年獲“國家科技進步二等獎”;1998年入選“教育部跨世紀優(yōu)秀人才”,F主持國家“九五”科技攻關課題,發(fā)表論文70多篇。
            
        主要從事持久性有機污染物的污染特征、控制原理和控制戰(zhàn)略研究。近五年完成了“十五”國家重大科技專項、國家973計劃課題、國家自然科學重點基金、國家環(huán)保部項目、國際合作項目等30多項研究任務;目前正在承擔來自國家科技部、自然基金委、環(huán)保部、國際組織如聯合國環(huán)境規(guī)劃署、聯合國工發(fā)組織等10多項研究任務。研究成果曾獲2項國家科技進步二等獎和3項省部級一、二等獎。
       
        在國內外期刊和會議上發(fā)表論文100多篇,其中SCI收錄的近60篇,負責或參加編寫的書籍10多本。曾被國家環(huán)保局表彰為“國家八五科技攻關環(huán)境保護項目先進個人”,獲教育部“跨世紀優(yōu)秀人才培養(yǎng)計劃”基金,中國環(huán)境科學學會“第二屆青年科技獎”,“霍英東優(yōu)秀青年教師基金”,“國家杰出青年基金”,國務院政府特殊津貼。
       
        主講的課程《環(huán)境監(jiān)測》被評為國家精品課程,指導的博士論文獲2008年北京市優(yōu)秀博士論文。
