The Tianjin Jinnan Wastewater Treatment Plant will have the largest wastewater treatment capacity of all TETRA® Denite® filters in China when complete.

近日，美國(guó)STS在國(guó)內(nèi)最大的TETRA® Denite® 反硝化濾池業(yè)績(jī)?cè)谔旖蚪蚰衔鬯畯S投運(yùn)，處理規(guī)模55萬(wàn)m3/d。設(shè)計(jì)單位為中國(guó)市政工程華北設(shè)計(jì)研究總院二分院。

Severn Trent Services, a leading global supplier of water and wastewater solutions, recently signed a contract with Tianjin Machinery & Electric Equipment Import & Export Co. Ltd., to provide its TETRA® Denite® denitrification filter technology to the Tianjin Jinnan Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase I Project. The Phase I Project has a daily capacity of 550,000 tons, making it the largest Denite DeepBed filter in China.

The denitrification installation will ensure the Tianjin Jinnan plant meets the Class 1A wastewater discharge requirements for total nitrogen, recently established due to the implementation of Water Resource Management Regulations, which enforce high quality standards on wastewater treatment and discharge and recycled water.

The Severn Trent Services design uses 30 filters, each measuring 28.45 m x 3.56 m for a total filter area in excess of 3,000 m2. The start-up of this project is set to commence in October 2013.

津南污水廠STS濾池共30格，單格28.4*3.56m2，總的過濾面積約3000m2.

Tianjin Jinnan Wastewater Treatment Plant is a relocation project of Jizhuangzi Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project was supported by Tianjin Construction and Transport Administration Commission, Planning Bureau, Water Supplies Bureau, Municipal Public Road Bureau, Urban Investment Group and Jinnan District and Xiqing District Governments.

TETRA Denite is a fixed-film biological denitrification process that also serves as a deep bed filtration system capable of removing total nitrogen and total suspended solids from wastewater in a single step compared to other single-function filter technologies. Therefore, when treating to the same water quality, TETRA Denite has a lower overall investment cost. TETRA Denite also has a small footprint and maintenance-free operation.

Over the past 40 years, TETRA Denite has been used extensively around the world to meet customers’ treatment requirements. First installed at a plant in China in 2002, Denite technology is being used successfully at facilities throughout the country.
