其循環(huán)聚合物塑料回收再造設(shè)施獲PCX認(rèn)證
位于泰國(guó)Bang Phli的蘇伊士循環(huán)聚合物（SCP）塑料回收再造設(shè)施正式通過塑料信用交易組織（PCX）塑料抵消平臺(tái)的認(rèn)證。該設(shè)施是泰國(guó)首家通過PCX認(rèn)證的再生塑料加工商。
該設(shè)施每年把當(dāng)?shù)?萬噸低密度聚乙烯（LDPE）和線型低密度聚乙烯（LLDPE）塑料包裝廢料轉(zhuǎn)化為優(yōu)質(zhì)的消費(fèi)后可回收塑料（PCR），用于生產(chǎn)塑料膜和塑料袋。設(shè)施于2020年開始運(yùn)營(yíng)，是當(dāng)?shù)厮赜寐首罡叩幕厥赵O(shè)施之一，每年避免3.5萬噸溫室氣體排放。
根據(jù)普華永道的獨(dú)立評(píng)估，該設(shè)施獲PCX認(rèn)證，意味著蘇伊士的運(yùn)營(yíng)符合PCX “塑料污染減少標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”。該標(biāo)準(zhǔn)為實(shí)施可信、可驗(yàn)證的塑料抵消計(jì)劃提供了指導(dǎo)性的框架。

SUEZ Circular Polymer plastic recycling plant becomes Thailand’s
first recycled plastics processor accredited by PCX
The SUEZ Circular Polymer (SCP) plastic recycling plant in Bang Phli, Thailand, has been officially accredited by the Plastic Credit Exchange (PCX) plastic offset platform. The plant is the first processor in Thailand to be recognised by PCX.
The plant converts 30,000 tonnes of locally sourced LDPE and LLDPE plastic packaging waste into high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics replacing fossil resources to produce films and bags for the industry. SCP, of which operations started in 2020, is designed to achieve one of the highest water reuse rates for recycling plants in the country and helps avoid 35,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually.
The SCP plant has been recognised as a PCX-accredited processor on the basis of an independent assessment conducted by Pricewaterhouse Coopers. This confirms SUEZ’s operations are in compliance with PCX’s Plastic Pollution Reduction Standard, which provides a framework for the implementation of a credible and verifiable plastic offsetting programme.
“The plastic pollution crisis is a global problem that requires a global solution. Expanding it to partners outside of the Philippines not only means we are expanding our impact footprint, but also helping Thailand achieve its goal of 100% recycling by 2030.
