1994年在同濟大學環(huán)境工程學院獲博士學位后,先后在境外三所大學從事研究工作,2001年獲中國科學院人才計劃回國工作,現(xiàn)為中國科學技術大學教授、國家杰出青年基金獲得者(2006)、科技部萬人計劃入選者(2017)、教育部創(chuàng)新團隊負責人(2012)、科技部創(chuàng)新團隊負責人(2016) 、國家自然科學基金委創(chuàng)新群體負責人(2018),F(xiàn)任國家自然科學基金委工程與材料學部咨詢專家組成員、多份國際SCI刊物編委。2014年以來連續(xù)入圍 Elsevier 出版集團環(huán)境領域國際高被引學者,科睿瑞安(Web of Science)交叉領域的高被引科學家。開展水污染控制的基礎研究、技術研發(fā)和實際應用工作,主持國家自然科學基金、國家重大科技專項課題、國家863劃課題多項;研發(fā)了多項廢水處理技術,獲授權發(fā)明專利40多項,并獲實際應用。作為通訊/第一作者發(fā)表 SCI論文400多篇,其中包括Nature子刊、PNAS、Environmental Science & Technology和 Water Research,SCI他引超過2萬次,H因子89 (Web of Science);成果獲國家自然科學二等獎1項,省部級科技/自然科學一等獎5項。
